About the artist
Dr. Susan Huffman started working with glass as a hobby in 1998. She made numerous stained glass windows and was commissioned by a fine dining restaurant to create several windows. It wasn't long before she became intrigued by hot glass work, using a kiln. She started off using a small kiln but quickly realized that to produce really beautiful works that offered a vast variety of color and styles she would need a larger kiln. As a full time teacher, she produced glass art, but on a limited basis. As a recent retiree, she is able to focus her attention on her ZQ Glass business and schedule regular shows with her work.
